Topaz Users Group Workshop Concept and Learning Experiencepage1image65985856page1image51294192

We are looking for 4-6 individuals who are interested in the above and want to participate in a shared learning experience. We propose meeting one Sunday afternoon a month to learn and share insights and processing techniques using Topaz Studio and other Topaz products. We hope to initiate this working group after the New Year.

The workshop sessions would be held in my home studio in Ellicott City on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00. The workshop will be very hands-on with projects driven by group consensus and with each person doing their own work on their own time. The meetings will include brief demos and presentations of “how to do it” and time for you to present your work to the group for critiquing. This will not be a lecture driven workshop, but a shared learning experience.

Participants need to have a good working knowledge of Photoshop and have the ability to print their own work. And own a set of Topaz plugins & Topaz Studio (it’s FREE).

    • Using Topaz Studio as a stand alone or plugin.

    • Understanding and using the many workflow possibilities with Topaz Studio.

    • Create enhanced effects for your images.

    • Understanding and using Topaz Textures.

    • Creating unique images using Topaz Impressions, Glow, Buzz Sim, AI Remix, AI Clear and AI Gigapixel among other techniques.

    • Combining Topaz Studio in combination with Photoshop, Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom.

    • Share projects and receive feedback from your peers in the Topaz Users Group.

Please submit your interest and questions to me at cwbowers@mac.com.
